Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy governs refunds for services purchased from Royal Freight Advisory through our Shopify-powered store. All services are digital analytics deliverables (dashboards, reports, consulting) provided to freight and logistics businesses.

Digital services have limited refund eligibility due to immediate delivery commencement upon payment receipt.

2. Refund Eligibility

Pre-Delivery (within 24 hours of purchase) ✓ Full Refund No work initiated. Simple cancellation request.
Work Initiated (requirements gathered) ⚠️ Partial Refund 50% of fees, less setup costs ($250 minimum).
Dashboards Delivered ✗ No Refund Services rendered and accepted.
Non-Delivery (30+ days past due) ✓ Full Refund Our material breach only.

3. Refund Request Process

3.1 How to Request

  1. Email connect@royal-freight-advisory.com with Order # and refund reason
  2. Provide Shopify Order confirmation
  3. Allow 3-5 business days for review
  4. Refund processed to original payment method

3.2 Processing Time

Refunds processed within 5-10 business days to original payment method. Shopify may add 3-5 additional days for card processing.

4. Non-Refundable Items

Absolutely NO refunds for:

  • Services where dashboards/reports have been delivered
  • Client delays in providing data access or feedback
  • Changes in business requirements after project start
  • Dissatisfaction with business outcomes (analytics dependent on client data)
  • Third-party data source failures beyond our control

5. Exceptions & Special Cases

5.1 Duplicate Purchases

Full refunds for legitimate duplicate orders placed within 24 hours. Provide both Order #s.

5.2 Failed Delivery

If we fail to deliver contracted services within agreed timelines due to our fault (not client delays), full refund offered.

5.3 Payment Errors

Full refunds for payment processing errors (double charges, incorrect amounts) confirmed by Shopify transaction logs.

6. Chargebacks & Disputes

Chargebacks circumvent our review process and incur:

  • $50 processing fee
  • Loss of future service eligibility
  • Legal collection for disputed amounts + fees

Always contact us first before initiating payment disputes.

7. International Customers

Cross-border fees may apply:

  • Currency conversion fees (1-3%)
  • International wire fees ($15-45)
  • Bank intermediary fees

These fees are non-refundable and deducted from refund amounts.
